After immigrating to Canada in December 1983, Anthony co-founded a company named Benoit & Borg Insurance Agencies Inc. Based in Toronto, over the space of 16 years, the Company grew from 3 to 30 employees, expanded internationally and became the recognized leader in its field.
Specializing in the sale of Insurance and ancillary Financial Services products to the credit card holders of retailers and financial institutions by Direct Mail and Outbound Telemarketing techniques, B & B had a list of clients that included Sears Canada, Hudson’s Bay Company, American Express, Esso and the National Bank of Canada among several others. Annualized billings exceeded $150 million and at one point, approximately 10% of the eligible Canadian population was insured under one or more of the supplementary products offered by the Company.
Benoit & Borg were bought out by Aon in 1999 and Anthony was requested to stay on as Chairman of the Corporation until his retirement in April 2002.
An Insurance Underwriter by profession and training, prior to coming to Canada, Anthony held various senior positions with leading International Insurers principally in the U.K. and Europe.
In September 2003, became the sole owner of Energy Fitness, a fitness club that caters to the local community in Burlington, ON.
A fair portion of his time today is dedicated to working for various Charities, principally in the field of Fund-Raising. Among these Charities would be the Canadian Opera Company, the University Health Network and Sheena’s Place. Anthony is married and has one daughter.
Born, raised and educated in Europe, Vincent came to Canada in 1966 and joined a large Financial Institution in Montreal.
Obtained a Fellow recognition from the Canadian Bankers Institute and several Certificates from École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales – HEC (affiliated to the Université de Montreal).
In 1989, he became President of the Mortgage subsidiary of the Bank and Vice-President of the Personal Banking Division which included the assets and liability side of personal banking.
In 1991, Vincent became the Vice-President of the Electronic Banking Division which included Co-Branded, Private Label and MasterCard issuing and acquiring divisions along with all other electronic based services provided by the Bank (payroll, PAD, Direct Deposit, Debit, Reconciliation, etc..). During this tenure, the R&D division, under his leadership, developed the Canadian Debit system which became INTERAC.
In 1992 he assumed the leadership of the entire Credit and Debit Card Division as Vice-President Credit Card Services.
In 1993, he joined Canada’s largest retail organization as President of one of their wholly owned subsidiaries. Based in Toronto, he managed the entire portfolio of their Custom Private Label Credit Card and Collection division.
Since 1995 Vincent has owned a Private Consulting firm which provides strategic management direction and initiatives to several organizations in a variety of industries.
Vincent is married and has one daughter.
